We have been a part of the Monticello community since 1972. North Florida Abstract & Title (NFAAT) is more than your title and closing provider; we're your neighbors, fully invested in the community and committed to protecting your real estate investments.

At our core, we deliver essential closing services and issue title insurance policies, but what you see us do is offer you knowledge and comfort in what could be the biggest investment of your life. Our primary goal is to safeguard your property rights and ensure a smooth transaction process, whether you're buying your first home or managing a portfolio of commercial properties.

Meet Your Local Jefferson County Title Experts

Leslie Wilkinson, owner of NFAAT.
Leslie Wilkinson
Owner - NFAAT

Leslie Wilkinson has lived in Monticello since 1988.  She met her husband, Del, shortly after moving from southern California. He helped her through the culture shock of small-town living. If you ask her now, she will tell you she can’t imagine living anywhere else. Leslie and Del have one grown son, DJ, and they are now enjoying their "empty nest life."

Leslie started her career in title insurance in 1994 at First American Title. She said she feels like she grew up in the title industry. Leslie purchased North Florida Abstract & Title in 2018 and has been loving every minute of it. Come visit Leslie and her Title Dog, Pepper. They both would love to see you!

Nancy Dodd, expert at NFAAT.
Nancy Hoss Dodd

Nancy Haas Dodd came out of retirement a few years ago to learn the title business from Leslie and the staff at NFAAT. She had spent a long career in healthcare and volunteering before she and her husband were fortunate to retire and make their home on 11 acres in Monticello. That homestead requires a lot of gardening and upkeep - which they love.  When she can get away from the yard, Nancy stays very active traveling, kayaking, playing pickleball and just enjoying the beautiful natural resources in North Florida and its proximity to the coast.

Her family has a farm in South Georgia that requires attention but also gives them an opportunity to enjoy a slower pace of life.  Part of her traveling involves visiting her daughter and other family in Jacksonville while taking advantage of big city life.  Nancy is very happy to call small town Monticello her home! Come stop by and see Nancy. She is ready to take your next real estate order!

Sherri is an avid FSU fan (especially football). Downsizing two years ago, she and her family of five Corgis relocated to the beautiful Ochlockonee River in Wakulla County where she has again become involved in the community, joining Discover Sopchoppy.
